さらなる研究

画面と幼い子どもに関する研究のリストを公開している団体が二つあります。Autism and Electronic Screens（autismandscreens.org）と、GAINING（Global Alliance for Inspiring Non-tech Infant Nurturing and Growth、mybabygains.org）です。両団体のリストに載っている研究のうち、特定できるものはすべて、本の参考文献（References）か「Further Research（さらなる研究）」の項で引用しています。

2026年10月には、本の出典を、PubMedとCrossrefのデータベースで行った検索の結果とも照らし合わせました。検索の対象は、画面と自閉スペクトラム症または自閉スペクトラム症に似たサインについての研究、自閉スペクトラム症のある子どもの画面の使い方についての研究、そして「仮想自閉症」（診断名ではありません）という言い方そのものについて書かれたもので、英語とそれ以外の言語の両方を含みます。この言葉は親たちが使っている言い方で、診断名ではなく、多くの研究者や自閉スペクトラム症のある大人がこの言葉に反対しています。この検索で見つかったものは、本の「Further Research」の項に載せています。第6章と付録Eでは、主な研究から言えることと言えないことを説明しています。
